Chasing the American Dream
Like every other immigrant who immigrated to this great nation of immigrants, Dr. Anyanwu chased his dream of higher education and higher standards of life to this dream land. In January 1985, Dr. Anyanwu crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Nigeria, Africa, in pursuit of higher education to the United States of America.
Upon arrival he enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, OK, and earned his B.A. and M.A. He later proceeded to obtain his doctorate at Oklahoma State University.
A few years later, Dr. Anyanwu secured admission to law school and obtained a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from Michigan State University College of Law.
Dr. Anyanwu is also a seasoned educator at both High School and College levels, and he currently teaches Criminal Justice and Business Law at Lane College, Jackson, TN. He has also worked as Assistant Professor at Mississippi Valley State University, Itta Bena, MS, and the University of North Alabama, Florence, AL.
All through the years in pursuing his dream of higher education, Dr. Anyanwu has also gained experience in building and construction, printing, maritime, social work, and Hospitality Industry.
